Exercise 6 : Choiceless Acceptance

Exercise for the day: while acting, make the best choice. When results come let there be choiceless acceptance.

For acting He gave us the intellect to make the best choice and He gave us scriptures for the knowledge to make the best choice and fine-tune the choice-making equipment. He does not interfere in our actions. Like petrol does not interfere in driving. That's driver's choice. So lets study the scriptures and make the best choice.
Since results come by HIS Grace let us accept them as His Prasad. Once we accept the results the mind is calm and we can analyze the results or our actions and make any improvements needed in the future course of action.

1. Ask youself - how much is enough for me and family? Knowing this helps us to balance our external and internal pursuits and also puts aside greed.

2. What tempts me at the sensory level? Do i enjoy it as a master or a slave?

3. What am i doing for sense-mastery?

Exercise 4 : Integrate

Exercise for today:

Whatever we do, lets do it with integration.

Bring feeling and thinking together.

Be aware what you feel about the work and what thoughts come about it.

If either is missing, invoke it.

Eg. While doing work be aware if you feel the joy or satisfaction and also if your thoughts are single pointedly absorbed in the work.
